The density of pure PEEK resin is 1.3g/cm3. PEEK is a kind of special engineering plastics with excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, self-lubrication, easy processing and high mechanical strength.
PEEK material has many advantages:
◆ Self-lubrication has a low friction coefficient, can realize oil-free lubrication work, can be in oil, water, steam, weak acid and alkali medium for a long time to work.
◆ Easy processing can be directly processed parts by injection molding process. It can be processed after turning, milling, drilling, tapping, bonding and ultrasonic welding.
◆ Low smoke non-toxic combustion when the amount of smoke and poisonous gas is particularly low.
◆ The long-term use temperature is 260℃, even if the temperature is up to 300℃, it can still maintain excellent mechanical function.
◆ Wear resistance PEEK compound and its composites have excellent wear resistance in many harsh working environments, such as high temperature, high load and strong corrosion.
◆ High strength has the best mechanical strength in plastics. It also has high rigidity and surface hardness.
◆ Corrosion resistance is insoluble in common solvents. It has good corrosion resistance to various organic and inorganic chemical reagents.
◆ Hydrolyzation-resistant, PEEK products can work continuously for thousands of hours without obvious function decline in steam over 250℃ or in water under high pressure.
◆ The electrical function can maintain stable and excellent electrical function over a wide range of temperature and frequency.
